I am very new in this forum and web designing business so can you people say me how to increase traffic for my website.As i have launch a new website very recently. I need to do some seo but am not able to do it in a proper manner. So can you help me????

Try To Submit your site Social Bookmarking site, Press Release Submission, Article Submission, Blog posting. Before do this activities do first On page Optimization.

I agree. Firstly do some on page optimization, i mean create some attractive content or write some interesting news. Then you can precede with blogs, forum posting and etc.

Social bookmarking is a good way to boost traffic in a short period of time. Bookmark your pages in popular SB sites like Digg and Propeller.

3) Use directories, forums and blogs

Advertise through free online classified ads such as Kijiji, Backpage, etc. There are lots of free ads over the web, just do the research and you'll find huge list. Smile
