I understand what keyword stuffing is to an extent, however, do images with links under the image count as keyword stuffing?
Our website is very organized and each page has a main menu so we can display images of our products and once they click on the image, it brings you to the product page for specifications.
On the menu page it has about 3 rows 4 colums of images. Under the image is the name of the PRODUCT and LINK TEXT linked to that page. However, the link text on all the products have the same text and then the product #.

Putting alt tags to images is fine. It's not keyword stuffing. Make sure it's relevant to your target keywords. _________________ Delta-Larm Sheet Metal Fabricating |

The alt tags are supposed to provide a description of the image that they are attached to, so I don't think you'll have a problem with that example. Plenty of major product sites are set up the same. _________________ Best Electric Lawnmower Vacuum Cleaners Comparison |

No it's not. You can put links and alt tags to images. Just make sure not to stuff the images with tons of keyword phrases. Limit it to one keyword per image. _________________ Midwest Metal Products

yea all are right that its not keyword stuffing so please dont worry. This is about the dumbest form of keyword spamming I have seen in a long time. I mean at least try and hide it better by pushing it off page with CSS or something. Most of the time when I see a site that is stuffing keywords, they are literally stuffing them in there visible text for everyone to read. In some occasions the image alt tags would be stuffed full of keywords, or they try and hide a bunch of text at the bottom of the site. Sad thing is I wonder how many people believe this guy about google not listing his site and end up buying the product. _________________ Forex Guide | Forex Brokerage | Forex Strategy |

It is not really considered as a keyword stuffing. But as much as you could, avoid repeating your keywords on your content over and over again. _________________ Weber BBQ Grill - Energy Star Dehumidifier |

It's totally fine. Google won't penalize you from doing that. Just do it moderately. Don't stuff the images with tons of keyword phrases. _________________ Midwest Metal Products

I guess it's ok but why won't you try to put the link at the image itself. If a use clicks the image of your products, the user will be taken to the specific product page where he/she can see the product specifications. You can also add the reliable "alt" tag to your image. _________________ Online Designer Clothes

| I've never heard of it even being considered keyword stuffing. Google loves Image Alt tags, so does Safari. I think you mean the caption under the picture as well. I think it's great. |

I don't think so. As long as you provide each keywords with codes, each keywords will be treated differently. _________________ Huge list of DVDs for sale | Buy DVDs |
