I didn't have proof to believe. The term "click here" is a wonderful proof of anchor text's importance in SEO. Out of 2 billion search results only the download page of adobe acrobat reader ranks 1st in search results. Too ahead of competition.

Now It is more and more difficult to get high-quality backlinks

Good content matters a lot. If people like your site, they will link it naturally. The usual linkbuilding techniques such as forum posting, article submission, etc. still work!

Yes if you are offering like free online tool for seo,free downloadble software and etc which are useful to your visitors. Click Here is definitely a powerful anchor txt. You can check at google try to search the term "click here" and you'll find out adobe is on the top result.
