The shortest way to get high Page Rank is not to care about it. I am serious. Do you think people will be more likely to buy from you if they see you have PR of 58? It's time we stop worrying about PR and start focusing on what's more important. Build more traffic, make your web site more effective...

And yes, there is a shortcut to get higher PR - if you want to call it a shortcut: Write absolutely great content that people will love and therefore will post a link on their web site advising your content. In other words, get viral.

Simply concentrate on building good quality backlinks from relevant and high PR sources. Backlinks is an important factor for ranking high in search engines.

Alternatively, the higher you rank on search engines, the more will be your possibility to gte more traffic for your site.

SEO is very time consuming.

You need a good content and update it regularly
Do research keyword for targeting your keyword
And do all the promotion techniques.
Work hard on it and be patient.
Participate in forums so that you will be updated.

There is no easy way unfortunately unless you intend to pay someone to do it for you, you have to spend a great deal of time working on the site.

Black hat would be the easiest. You need links from high PR's. Easy to find but not white hat suitable.

Do the usual white hat linkbuilding methods such as forum posting, article submission, directory submission, link exchange, etc. Avoid link farms.

In order to do so, you need to adopt a good backlink strategy. Just keep in mind that a high pagerank doesn't necessarily mean a good keyword rank
