Ya I agree to overdriveelectronics this is why we submit to directories for building links. I think you should keep all the listings free with follow attribute and you should show the paid listings at the top and the free ones below them this way it will not even hurt you or the seekers.

Many directories use the same method and also are very much successful.

i dont want to follow in any directories footsteps
im trying to add new features etc to make webspassage different
i dont want webspassage to be a SEO webmasters spam spot
i regularly manually add websites i find on the net that i think general web users would benifit from

if your site is informative post it here and i may add it in free
webspassage has only been online for about 6 months and already i am suprised with its success to date.. hopefully it continues growing.. if not its still has benifit to web users looking for sites

i have updated the script recently and it now features a fetch meta feature where you can fetch your sites title and description.. you can now also submit meta tags for your listings details page which regularly show up in SERPS

i had no follow on for free listings for a few weeks, this was suposed to be a submission option for general web users to submit their favorite websites. but some didnt like it..
