I built an xml doc. www.reneetroydesigns.com/newrss.xml the feed is just on this site to test
The feed is going to be for www.pricepoint.com
What do I do with it? I want it to help in the search engine optimization process and I want it to do something for us, as we are an e-commerce site for bike parts.
Is there someway we can automate this feed to help with product updates? There is something that I don’t understand, please explain what I can do with this feed. Why make multiple feeds?
Sincerely,
Matthew Miladinovich

If you want to update an xml feed to help with search engines, consider looking into Google Sitemaps.

As far as what you can do with RSS/XML feeds, there's plenty of reasons to create different ones. The point of course is to customize the information to your customers' interests. Example, a feed for the top sellers, another for sale items, latest updates, or new items.
Here's a site that uses RSS feeds to syndicate specialty content.

Users can subscribe to any of the feeds via their feed/news reader.
