What is the real value of entries in directories?
I'm talking about directories that are SEO friendly i.e. they hyperlink to the web sites of their entries. I was just thinking that there maybe thousands of different entries in such a directory pointing to other web sites.
How does it influence the ranking of client web sites? I'm thinking here of factors like.
* Page Rank at google (of directory)
* Amount of sites listed (in directory)
* Text used (in directory entry)
* hyperlinks of other sites present
etc. I'm sure there is more.
Now how does this influence the ranking, PR, and other parameters of the client web sites on search engines?! _________________ power plants, machinery and equipment |
