|
|
I'm trying to optimize my web page and am trying to understand how search engines look at the keyword meta tag. In order to rank higher in search results, should I use individual words seperated by commas or word phrases seperated by commas in my keyword?
For example, taking the phrase "toronto loft for rent", do I construct my keyword as "toronto loft for rent" or "toronto, loft, rent"?
Thanks in advance! _________________ Loft for Rent in Toronto |

It would be much better if you would use both however, now most of the search engines ignore these tags, this tag is now of less importance. PM me if need top placements.

Hi,
I would suggest one word in one time, like "abc", "xyz", "pqr" etc. You can also use phrase in the meta keywords, but don't repeat one word in phrases more than three time. Some SE will consider it as spam.
Cheers,
Bradley

The keyword phrase works well, as your link is part of what a user sees in the search engine results. For me, just having florida in the DNS is fine. But having fun florida getaways is more along the lines a person would be looking for.

using keyword in key phrases is better than using individual keyword. you can use both keyword and keyphrases in keyword meta tag but i ll suggest you should use key phrase in title tag. _________________ for SEO services visit http://www.cometsearchenginemarketing.com |

"toronto loft for rent" will definitely be more successful for you. Try adding that as alt text for some of the pictures you have on the site also, could help out a lot _________________ http://www.agbdesign.com |

As of my knowledge, search engine spiders look out for the words; not the format. So, use it anyway. |
