Correction: not post, but submit it in their directory for them to index the site you have submitted...

NO.. You need a proper way of optimizing like SEOing your websites in any SE..

Nice discussion here. It gives good ideas.
I think that one can get his ping of website higher in Yahoo compared to Google as more traffic is on Google and Yahoo is less used.
