Please do not submit the site to the search engines, get some back links to your site. Then automatically search engines will index your site.

1.Write a nice article .
2.Post it on 2-3 article directories with baclinks towards your site
3. After publishing your site will be indexed inall the major search engines with in 2-3 days

| As stated above, don't submit to SE ,let them find you.A very good way for helping SE find you is ysing social bookmarking sites like Digg, Netscape,etc. |

I also agree. Use Openwire and Stumbleupon (especially if you have a funny video type site) too...
Found they work well and Stumble can bring 500+ visitors over about 3 days...but they dont hang out long.

like what markov said, don't submit your site to SE's.. better build links through forums posting, articles submission and blogging for faster indexing and possible visible to all major search engines..

I thought submitting to high pr directories is worth alot more in the long run than posting on forums, because of the pr the pages linking to you have, unless the forum pages you are posting on have a high pr. am I right?
