Hi Folks,

I've been getting mixed reviews on Bilingual SEO. Mixing Spanish keywords with English ones is becoming more popular with Spanglishers world-wide.

my site http://www.seguro-insurance.com gets great positioning on MSN and Yahoo using mixed keywords, however is not as good as on Google.

Any thoughts? suggestions?

I think your site is too young to have top Google ranking when you bid on high competetive keywords. It was created only January 23, 2008. As far as I know Google is age sensitive. Of course it's not the major issue. Google also pay attention how many relevant quality backlinks you have. So far I don't see you have many of them. Mixed content might also cause some problems with ranking, I'm not sure about this and how big is that mix. But I know for sure Google is more picky than any other search engines.

Have a great day,
Peter

Thanks,

Yes, the domain was re-registered in Jan/08, however before buying the domain name it did have a history from its original registration back in 2004 on "Way Back Machine":

http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.seguro-insurance.com

After doing some research, I figured the history of the domain itself would be beneficial for ranking to some degree.

Thanks for the info Peter....

Sammy

That's bad for me if I'm in a case, I'm more on to Google and don't pay much attention to MSN and Yahoo.
