I am completely new with SEO
concepts. Can anyone please tell me how does SEO works? or how to add site in google
rank? how does google will pay us? how to increase google rank. If anyone could help me out, that would be really great.

| You should do more and more researchs to know about the concepts and basic knowledge about how it works, how to do it. You can learn from SEO book, SEOmoz, Search engine land... and a lot of other helpful blogs and forums. Just give a issue you met and ask other members. |

Hi,
Do the on page optimization and off page optimization.
On page optimization:
1.competitive keyword search
2.add title tag,meta keywords and meta descriptions.
3.check for the content relevancy.
4.create sitemap.xml for Google webmaster
5.create robot.txt file.
Off page optimization:
1.Google directory submission
2.article submission
3.blog submission
4.social book marking and forum submission.
after following the above steps your website visible in search engine like Google,yahoo,msn.

Yes, you can go for on page SEO first and then you can apply off page tactics for getting your site in a good position on top of the google.
