Is there a way to tell when Yahoo last crawled your site and cached a page?
MSN always posts the date of the last cache for a few days after it crawls...
Click on the Google cached page, and it tells you what the page looked like on the date Googlebot last visited...
Does Yahoo have anything like that? _________________ My Pillow Place | Floor Pillows | BeanBags

You're right, Yahoo does not mention about the exact date of spidering, but you can check your web stats on your website Cpanel to see.

Ya you are right but why are people too much concerned about the updates first aim to rank high in the search engines by building lots of quality links and Yahoo will itself update your site frequently.

The reason that I am concerned about the updated pages in the index, is because I have optimized my pages to provide more info to users and to hopefully get a higher listing. If Googlebot doesn't visit those pages and update the index, then they won't list my site higher for the relevant searches.
I still try to build links and add content. I've also taken Vista's advice and made better title tags, begun writing articles and so on....but Google doesn't know about it yet, because they haven't visited my interior pages for a long while. _________________ My Pillow Place | Floor Pillows | BeanBags

All you can do is update your content and hope that they will visit and cache your site. You can not speed up their process. You need to worry about optimizing and link building correctly to get all your pages indexed. If you do it correctly, Google and Yahoo will visit your site daily. They visit mine every 2 days checking for updates. They like to see fresh content. Stop worrying about it because you wont be able to change their speed unless you take the time to make your site a useful piece of information that the spiders like! _________________ Electronics |

I guess the problem is, it is difficult to add fresh content all of the time...my site does not really change that much unless I rewrite some copy, add a product or add an article that I've written...

Well no need to add content daily or weekly its not factor for anything but its good adding some quality content but not neccessary to add it daily just add new content once a week or twice a month. I also do the same.

Ya, to get maximum exposure you will have to submit your articles to those websites and I also did the same. By the way you will get everything at my site from article submission to directory submission, tips to submission sites all.
I am trying to prepare a great resource for learners so I might be adding lots of more quality stuff soon but this needs lot of money thats why nowdays I am focusing a bit more on selling my services. Well as soon as I get some money it will be spent on the resources for the learners.
