As what title of your thread says, shortcut for SEO. I think there is no shortcut in SEO works. The only things you want to have in order to be successful is the patience.

Yeah, SEO is a very long procedure. You should do SEO constantly in order to maintain your site's rankings or to improve it further.

Shortcut? What are you talking about? SEO has no shortcut. It entails time and lots of hardwork inorder to be successful. Doing tricks won't do any good for your site.

Forum posting,
Link generation,
Article submission,
Blogs and many more things.

There is no shortcut to SEO as of now but in future what shape would it take no one can predict it.
For me SEO requires only three things
patience
quality
hardwork

i agree with this one. seo is all about hardwork. i think there is no shortcuts in seo.

Doing short cut in SEO will tend to make your site short-lived. Just stick to the timely but proven and effective methods in ranking your website.
