Forum postings and blogs are the best ways to get back links. I think that search engines ignore directories now a days due to spam.

You can also post your web sites in blogs such as this. http://www.christianisle.com or http://www.all-things-christian.com or http://www.everybookclub.com
Some blogs don't allow it, i.e. they wont recognize it as a link, but some blogs do. As for this one, I'm not sure yet, until I submit this reply myself.
Ah ha, I just previewed it and it does work on this blog. So now I have a one way link for all three of the above listed web sites. |
