May be it is not wise. If directory has PR2 and easy accepts your listing today,it can gain PR5 tomorrow and it takes some month to get listed in it. May be it will be impossible at all.

Link Popularity can be increased with having links on theme related sites,sites with at least PR2 , but most important is that these links are catched by google spider. Link Building India
