I heard that Yahoo has or is going to join with MSN ... and are going to start using bing.com for there search results...

I have two question's can anyone verify this or is it just a rumor?

And if this is true.... Great! Does this mean no more having to submit your site to yahoo's directory just to be listed in there search results?

It's already confirmed. I'm very intrigued by the future of the partnership of Yahoo and MSN. Looks exciting!

This news came out about a week or so ago and really, there wasn't too much information given about it in the news reports. I am actually pretty curious to see how everything pans out.

I don't think it is a very reliable source of information... But if you guys can provide a very good link on that news, then that should start the discussion... Smile

Yahoo and microsoft are to form a partnership that will see Yahoo use Microsofts search engine and Bing use Yahoo's paid ads.

this hasnt been implemented as of yet, but will be as part of both search engines goal to take search share away from Google.
