I'll probably get alot of bashing for this but I do believe ODP needs to fix the way it runs it's directory. First of all it takes forever to get listed in the directory and to add to that they don't notify you if your site gets rejected or accepted. How would someone know when to resubmit their site to the directory if it takes them so long to approve a listing and if they won't notify you if they have reviewed your submission? Guestimating drives me crazy!

I agree with you, but they do have a forum that you can ask questions and someone might tell you if you are still waiting for review.

DMOZ Open Directory Forum
www.resource-zone.com

The second way would be to find any editor and become friends with them and they might help you find out the status (which requires a little trick actually to find what the status of a site submitted to a different directory than the editor is). I know this because I used to be an editor myself.

But I totally agre ethat DMOZ is screwed up and needs a reorganization.

Are you still an editor at the ODP because my site is not listed from more than 3 months on Dmoz. If you are still an editor then please review my website.
