Local.com Search Engine Names VP of Marketing

Irvine, California - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - April 7, 2006 - Interchange Corporation's search engine company, Local.com, has appointed Jennifer Black, Vice President of Marketing.
Joining the executive team, Ms. Black, formerly of Autobytel, will assist the company with a wealth of both online and offline marketing, strategic thinking, business development and e-commerce experience to the Orange County-based company.
Accordng to the company, while at Autobytel, Ms. Black was responsible for driving traffic and monetizing partnerships at the Autobytel network of sites. During her tenure, she was instrumental in spearheading traffic partnership deals with America Online, United Online and Earthlink. Ms. Black brings 15 years of experience managing marketing and business efforts for a diverse array of online companies. Prior to Autobytel, Ms. Black held senior marketing and strategy positions at Teleflora and Overstock.com.
