Vertical Search Solution, Zibb, Debuted by EDN

- A new vertical search solution has been developed by technical electronic design firm, EDN, in order to enable engineers to quickly find relevant answers to industry-specific queries.
According to the company, EDN.com's new search functionality offers a comprehensive, single-search-box experience that allows users to search news and editorial content, supplier listings and the Web, all filtered for the EE (electronics engineer) community.
EDN.com's site search is powered by Zibb, a new business-to-business vertical search engine developed by Reed Business. Through the use of tabs, EDN.com users can execute queries and/or filter search results by: EDN content; news, which includes all Reed Business global electronics news and editorial content, as well as select third-party content; products or companies, powered by Reed Business's Kellysearch global industrial supplier directory; and business-to-business-specific web content.

In the weeks ahead, Zibb will be rolled out to other Reed Business electronics industry web sites, including Design News, Electronic News, Electronic Business, and Test and Measurement World.
