Search Engine Awarded Patent, Supported by NIH

Seattle, Washington - (Website Hosting Directory) - June 12, 2006 - U.S. patent 7,051,017, for the ''Inverse Inference Engine for High Performance Web Search,'' including 67 claims was awarded to provider of predictive analytics and reporting solutions, Insightful Corporation. The development of the invention designed to provide a faster and more scalable alternative for intelligent keyword search techniques, was supported in part by the United States National Institutes of Health (NIH) and by the United States Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA).
