Topix.net and ShopLocal Combine Shopping and News

Chicago, Illinois - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - July 13, 2006 - Web-to-store (W2S) and e-commerce marketing solutions firm, ShopLocal, has developed a new advertising platform, whereby relevant sales circular inventory is presented online to local audiences, through a conjoined effort with Topix.net.
Topix.net provides news aggregated from over 30,000 sources and tags stories by town or topic, to enable users to receive local news, nationwide, down to the ZIP code. By partnering with ShopLocal, Topix.net's goal is to provide an online version of the sales circulars that consumers have had for years, and display offers on products available from neighborhood retailers.
It is anticipated that
the advertisements, in the form of content rich, web banners, will connect local customers to ZIP code specific offers from retailers' online circulars.
