Google Chosen for Colorado State Website
 

Denver, Colorado - (Cheap Web Hosting Directory) - August 21, 2006 - Search engine, Google, has been chosen to power the state of Colorado's official web site, providing enhanced access to state government. An estimated 2.5 million plus visitors per month, access Colorado.gov and will now be able to search the state's web site with Google's leading search engine technology. Colorado.gov is the official web site of the state of Colorado and a collaborative effort between the Statewide Internet Portal Authority and Colorado Interactive to help Colorado government entities web-enable their information services. Colorado.gov was built and is operated by Colorado Interactive, a Denver-based subsidiary of eGovernment firm NIC (NASDAQ: EGOV).
