WordLogic Explores Deep Search

Glasgow, Scotland - (Website Hosting Directory) - August 21, 2006 - WordLogic, developer and licenser of advanced multilingual predictive text input software firm, has begun a research and development project into the use of its technology in the area of deep search.

Frank Evanshen, President and CEO of WordLogic explained, ''WordLogic is well positioned to provide a new layer of website analysis to large search-engine companies that will benefit them and the consumers that use them to find key information. Adding depth to the level of searches available today will expand the exchange of information and promote ever more relevant results being returned to information seekers.''

Current web search and indexing technology has been geared to indexing the vast number of websites; however, to achieve this goal only a small amount, sometimes as small as 100K, of the overall website is indexed. What this means is when consumers are searching for information that is further down on the site, it will not appear in the search results from their favorite search engine. It is anticipated that WordLogic technology will allow the analysis of the context and classification of each section of a website allowing a much more efficient and deeper level of analysis to be completed in the same amount of time currently used by ''shallow indexing.''

Mr. Evanshen added, ''A new wholly-owned subsidiary of WordLogic Corporation will be established to segregate the unique deep search development from the Company's core business. This entity will be self-funded and will not dilute the interests of existing WordLogic shareholders. The objective is to generate additional value to our shareholders without detracting from our core business objectives.''

WordLogic Corporation is a technology company that delivers predictive solutions for computing devices ranging from small hand-held devices such as PDAs to laptops and tablet PCs to conventional desktop computers. Incorporated in the United States, the company's research, testing and marketing facilities are located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
