Mountain View, California - (The Hosting News) - December 18, 2006 -
Search engine, Google, will provide its users with domain registration services, through a new platform, with domain registrars, eNom and GoDaddy.com.
When a new domain is registered as part of the sign-up process for Google Apps for Your Domain, eNom and GoDaddy will automatically work with all of the services available through the program.
In addition, the user will maintain full control of domain settings, so that it can be used for other services not provided by Google
to all of users, all hosted by Google, with no hardware or software to install or maintain. The new program is designed to allow organizations the ability to offer tools such as email and shared calendaring. Google is offering domains for $10 per year, which includes private registration to protect your personal information, supporting .com, .org, .net, .biz, .info, with additional domains to be added over time.
